This Cookie Policy explains how ForkDrop ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on forkdrop.app. We are committed to data minimisation: we only set cookies that are necessary to run the service or that you have explicitly allowed.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. We also use your browser's local storage for the same purposes. Together we refer to them as "cookies" in this policy. They let a site remember your actions and preferences over time.

Strictly necessary

These keep you signed in, protect against security threats, and enable core features. They are set by Supabase, our authentication and database provider, and cannot be switched off. Examples: the Supabase session and authentication cookies.

Functional

These remember preferences you set, such as your chosen language (NEXT_LOCALE) and colour theme (forkdrop-theme). They are stored only in your browser and contain no personal or tracking data.

Analytics

We do not currently use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. If we ever introduce analytics, it will remain disabled until you give explicit consent, and you will be able to withdraw it at any time.

Third parties

We do not sell your personal data and we do not embed third-party advertising or tracking scripts. Authentication and storage are handled by Supabase as our data processor, hosted within the EU.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase, and port your data, to restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@forkdrop.app.
